Rockwood Composites, based in Newton Abbot, UK, has now delivered 2,500 parts to Roxel, the French-headquartered leading manufacturer of tactical propulsion systems, at the half-way point of a contract which ends in May 2021.

The suite of parts includes covers and screens for air-to-air and air-to-ground missile systems made from a high temperature glass-epoxy pre-preg with Rockwood’s matched-metal compression moulding. Their complex features and overall thicknesses need to be tightly controlled and all parts are fully CNC machined and supplied paint ready on a just in time basis
