Diab, a Swedish global supplier of high-performance structural core materials and sandwich technologies, has signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korean composites manufacturer Hankuk Carbon at the JEC World 2026 exhibition in Paris – Nord Villepinte. This partnership will focus on marine technologies.

Yunho Cho, CEO of Hankuk Carbon, and Johan Arvidsson, President and CEO of the Diab Group, signed a memorandum of understanding for joint research and cooperation in the field of marine technology at the JEC World exhibition held in Paris last week. The aim of this partnership is to develop high value-added marine composite technologies. Under this agreement, the two companies will develop structural sandwich panels and sustainable composite-based solutions, and evaluate applications for lightweight, high-strength composites.

For Hankuk Carbon, this new partnership will strengthen its competitiveness in the field of marine composites whilst accelerating its expansion into high-growth global markets through sustainable, high-performance solutions.
