The Norwegian Offshore Wind (Haugesund, Norway) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with France Offshore Renewables — an alliance of Bretagne Ocean Power, Normandie Maritime, Neopolia, Aquitaine Blue Energies, Wind’Occ and SudEole. Together, the partners will strengthen floating offshore wind supply chains and port capabilities at European scale. This includes:
- Driving joint industry collaboration
- Identifing strategic opportunities across value chains
- Deliver concrete activities for members.

France’s offshore wind developments are accelerating, with projects like Centre Manche 2 (1.5 gigawatts), and major floating wind developments are now moving toward industrial scale. This makes strong, cost-efficient supply chains more important than ever.
“If we are to scale floating offshore wind in Europe, we need cross-bordercollaboration across the value chain. This partnership is a concrete step in that direction,” says Astrid Green, business development manager, Norwegian Offshore Wind
Bretagne Ocean Power will host concrete exchanges in Brittany in autumn 2026.
