Hybrid Engine Development (HyEnD e.V.) is the boundary-pushing student rocketry team of the University of Stuttgart in Germany. Its liquid-fueled 1-kilonewton carbon fiber rocket engine was fired at the M11 test site at the German Aerospace Center Lampoldshausen (DLR Raumfahrtantriebe) in summer 2025. The fiber overwrap design was possible thanks to TaniqWind (Rotterdam, Netherlands) software. With this lightweight design, the rocket reached an altitude of 2903 meters at European Rocketry Challenge in October, 2025 (EuRoC 2025).
