On January 6, Zhejiang Hongsheng New Materials Group grandly kicked off its project in the Shangqiu Demonstration Zone, Henan Province, which is designed to produce 1.08 million high-efficiency filter cartridges and 36,000 tons of new composite profiles annually.

Leveraging Shangqiu's geographical advantage as the junction of four provinces (Henan, Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui), and supported by the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway hub as well as the national trade service-oriented logistics hub, the project will build an express distribution network covering a 200-kilometer radius across the four provinces and serving a population of 70 million, directly targeting the second hub market of the photovoltaic industry in central and western China.

Green and low-carbon development is the core value of the project. The high-efficiency filter cartridges adopt high-performance filter materials with a filtration efficiency of over 99.9%, reducing industrial dust emissions by 500,000 tons annually and helping enterprises save energy and cut costs. The composite frames support the "cost reduction, efficiency improvement and recyclability" of photovoltaic modules, reducing carbon emissions by 750,000 tons per year compared with traditional aluminum frames, which is equivalent to planting 40 million trees. The products precisely meet the dual-carbon transformation needs of the new energy and environmental protection industries.

The Shangqiu project marks a key leap for Hongsheng from the "Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Jiangxi" first hub of the photovoltaic industry to the "Henan-Anhui-Shandong" second hub area. It seizes the cost depression and market highland in central and western China, achieving coverage of a 48-hour delivery circle, reducing logistics costs by 25% and shortening delivery cycles by 30%.
