Cutting tools manufacturer LMT Onsrud (Waukegan, Ill., U.S.) is making an important change to its U.S. business operations that will improve and simplify its partnerships. Effective Jan. 1, 2026, the separate legal entities, LMT Tools USA LP and LMT onsrud LP, will be integrated into a single, combined entity. They will conduct business and market themselves under the name LMT Tools USA serving as the official DBA (Doing Business As) within the LMT onsrud LP legal entity.

This strategic integration is designed to make it easier to do business with LMT Tools USA. Channel partners will have one point of contact for all orders, purchasing and invoicing, regardless of the LMT brand. This change eliminates the administrative complexities of dealing with multiple entities and will lead to:

Simplified purchasing. With a single legal entity, orders can be placed for all LMT brands, including LMT Fette, LMT Kieninger and LMT Onsrud, under one account.

Unified invoicing. All invoices will now come from a single source, which will streamline accounts payable processes and reduce paperwork.

Improved efficiency. By consolidating operations, there will be quicker response times and greater efficiency for managing day-to-day interactions.

Continued quality and service. While the structure is simplifying, LMT Tools USA’s commitment to providing market-leading tools and unparalleled customer service remains its top priority. End users can rely on the same high-quality products from the brands they trust.
