On December 19, 2025, AVIC Shenyang Civil Aircraft Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as AVIC Shenyang Civil Aircraft) and HRC (Hengrui Carbon Fiber), a world-leading integrated composite material solutions provider, officially signed a special contract for the composite components of the wing-body fairing under the A220 project in Shenyang. This move represents the substantive implementation of the first major cooperative project between the two parties, following the establishment of their strategic partnership in July this year. The cooperation not only ushers in a new chapter of strong alliances in the field of advanced civil aviation manufacturing, but also marks China's aviation composite material application entering a new phase of deeper integration and large-scale upgrading, injecting robust impetus into the accumulation of industrial momentum for the future.
With over 40 years of profound experience in civil aircraft development, AVIC Shenyang Civil Aircraft has established long-term and stable cooperative relations with many internationally renowned aviation manufacturers such as Airbus. As an important Chinese supplier for the Airbus A220 aircraft model, AVIC Shenyang Civil Aircraft has not only successfully achieved high-rate, high-quality batch production and delivery of core structural components including the forward fuselage, mid-fuselage, rear barrel section, cabin doors and tail cone, but also formally signed a memorandum of agreement on the transfer of the A220 project wing-body fairing manufacturing back to China with Airbus in October this year, continuing to play a crucial supporting and driving role in the overall manufacturing system of the project.
As an emerging integrated composite material solutions provider, HRC has achieved outstanding results in multiple application fields such as new energy vehicles, general aviation and low-altitude economy in recent years. It has successively become a designated carbon fiber partner of many well-known main engine manufacturers at home and abroad, and its capabilities in R&D, engineering design, industrial mass production and complete assembly have been widely recognized. As an important strategic partner of AVIC Shenyang Civil Aircraft in this A220 project, HRC will give full play to its advantages in composite material molding, undertake the high-quality production and manufacturing of multiple components and the system integration of sub-sections, and create representative products that lead the aviation industry standards and balance the requirements of supply chain security and efficiency.
