
To deepen industrial chain collaboration and advance the implementation of cooperative initiatives, on December 19, Wang Qihong, Director of CSSRC Institute 725, led a delegation to conduct research and exchange visits at Weihai Guangwei Composites Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangwei Composites) and Yantai Taihai Manoir Nuclear Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Taihai Manoir). The delegation also carried out in-depth inspections on cooperative projects, strengthened upstream-downstream coordination, and fostered new momentum for industrial development.
At Guangwei Composites, Wang Qihong and Lu Zhaojun, Chairman of the company, held in-depth discussions focusing on the R&D of high-performance materials and their applications in the maritime sector, and jointly witnessed the signing of the framework cooperation agreement between the two parties. Ma Yuliang, Assistant to the Director of Institute 725, and Cong Zongjie, Chairman of Weihai Tuozhan Fiber Co., Ltd., signed the agreement on behalf of both sides. Both parties stated that they will strengthen collaboration in R&D and manufacturing, expand product lines, and cultivate new industrial growth drivers. Prior to the meeting, Wang Qihong and his entourage visited the enterprise exhibition hall, as well as the carbon fiber and prepreg production lines, to learn about the company’s achievements in technological innovation and intelligent construction.
At Taihai Manoir, Wang Qihong held talks with Chen Wei, Chairman of the company, and conducted on-site visits to the enterprise exhibition hall, the 20,000-ton hydraulic press workshop, and the ring rolling branch factory. The two sides reviewed the outcomes of their cooperation in the field of large-scale critical forgings, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the R&D of large forgings such as structural steel and titanium alloy, the integrated ring rolling manufacturing process, and its promotion and application. They expressed the hope to further leverage their respective advantages, strengthen collaborative research efforts, and jointly contribute to national equipment development.
Responsible persons from relevant departments of both parties participated in the activities, and conducted in-depth inspections on the specific links of the cooperative projects. The aim is to identify and resolve bottlenecks in interconnection, and jointly promote the in-depth development and tangible results of industrial chain cooperation.
