Recently, exciting news came from the National Finals of the New Materials Sector of the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition: Hubei Zhenzhengfeng New Materials Co., Ltd., a national high-tech enterprise in Wuxue City, stood out from the fierce competition among 197 finalist enterprises from 37 divisions across the country with its project "Domestic Breakthrough in High-Purity Low-Chlorine Electronic Epoxy Resin". It won the "Outstanding Enterprise Award" with an excellent performance of ranking 6th in its group. This marks the first time that an enterprise from Wuxue has entered the national finals of this top-tier national competition and won an award. It not only achieves a historic breakthrough in the local scientific and technological innovation field but also demonstrates the strong innovative strength of county-level enterprises in the high-end new materials sector.
As an important platform for showcasing innovative achievements in the national new materials industry, this year's competition brought together high-quality enterprises in the industry nationwide to compete on the same stage. The 197 finalist enterprises were divided into 12 groups (3 groups for start-ups and 9 groups for growing enterprises) to compete fiercely. Headquartered in Tianzhen Makou Industrial Park, Wuxue City, Hubei Zhenzhengfeng New Materials Co., Ltd. has been deeply engaged in the R&D, production and sales of multi-functional temperature-resistant special epoxy resins for more than a decade. Since its establishment in 2012, it has always taken technological innovation as its core driving force, continuously increased R&D investment, and focused on overcoming the "bottleneck" problems in the industry.
The core achievement of its participating project – the independently developed multi-functional high-purity low-chlorine electronic-grade epoxy resin – has successfully broken the long-term technological monopoly of Japanese enterprises in this field. All performance indicators have reached the world's advanced level, providing key material support for China's high-end manufacturing fields such as chip packaging and aerospace, and filling the market gap of domestic high-end electronic epoxy resins. The company's pioneering dual-technology system of "N,N-dichlorohydrin molecular-level purification + high-precision molecular distillation for chlorine removal" has accurately solved the common industry pain points of low purity and high chlorine content in traditional epoxy resins, opening up a new path for the high-quality development of China's electronic-grade epoxy resin industry.
It is worth noting that the enterprise had previously won the third prize in the finals of the 14th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Hubei Division) held in August this year with the same project. Winning another honor in the national finals this time is not only a national recognition of the enterprise's innovative strength and technical level but also enhances Wuxue City's reputation and influence in the national new materials industry layout through the outstanding performance of this county-level enterprise, injecting strong impetus into the construction of local scientific and technological innovation brands.
