 HealTech™ is embedded in semi-products for manufacturing composite structures by LCM (Liquid Composite Moulding) and prepreg processes. The technology integrates ultra-fast repair directly within the composite, enabling in situ repair of matrix microcracks without additional resources or labour-intensive processes. When triggered by heat between 100-150°C, the healing mechanism activates and restores the component’s integrity in just 1 or 2 min, consistently recovering 100% of its mechanical properties while preserving weight and profile.
